Lights of the Sound at Blue Heron Gallery
November 10, 2004, Vashon, Washington.
SeaDrift Media Productions will produce Lights of the Sound at Blue
Heron Gallery on Friday, December 10th, 6-10 PM.
A variety of Vashon performing artists will join
together to create what Robert Bornn and Laura Worth of SeaDrift Media
envision as "a timely counterweight to the unrelenting violence in mass
culture." Worth continues, "This will be an evening of community."
Featured will be an immersive installation by Robert Bornn. Bornn
explains that his "sound-to-light installation will create wonder and excitement
for artists and audience alike."
Island artists will engage you in an evening of
positive energy with a potpourri of music, performance art, video, and
more. The evening's entertainment will include the Island's
Circle
of Sound and the SoundMomentsduo.
The nonviolent nature art movie, Ocean's Edge-Spirit's
Journey, recently introduced locally on DVD by SeaDrift Media,
will also offer musical and visual serenity.
Lights of the Sound is a fundraiser for Ebb
and Flow, the next inspirational film by SeaDrift Media Productions,
currently in post production. Tickets are on sale with local merchants
for $5. $7 at the door (sliding scale; no one turned away).
